About The Competition
The Pondicherry Art Academy organizes this annual competition to inspire and encourage young artists. Now in its 5th year, the Academy invites young talents and school students to participate and showcase their creativity to the world. This platform not only celebrates artistic expression but also nurtures the next generation of creative minds. Join us and be a part of this inspiring journey of art and imagination!
Who Can Participate
The competition is open to young artists between the ages of 6 and 15. Students from schools can also participate as a group.
Prizes
- Winner: ₹10,000 Cash Prize + Certificate of Achievement
- 1st Runner-Up: ₹5,000 Cash Prize + Certificate of Participation
- 2nd Runner-Up: ₹3,000 Cash Prize + Certificate of Participation
- Special Recognition Awards: Best Brush recognition for outstanding artworks
- Shield Award: Selected 50 Art works can get Shield + Certificate of Participation
- Best School Award: One School will be awarded for submitting the highest number of artworks
- Exhibition Opportunity: All awarded artworks will be featured in a art exhibition

Guidelines
The competition is open to artworks on any theme of your choice. You are encouraged to explore your creativity freely, whether through realistic depictions, abstract interpretations, or imaginative concepts.

You are free to use any medium, including pencils, watercolors, oil paints, crayons, or any other art materials of your choice.
